Effective: August 23, 2023

1. Maranello Technology Management will cover the cost of parts and labor for any hardware defects or failures on battery backup units (UPS) purchased from us for 3 years from the purchase date.

2. In the event that a UPS cannot be repaired, we will either provide a replacement unit, or issue a refund for the UPS. If the same model of UPS is no longer available, we will provide a similar model with similar specifications. Refurbished parts and/or UPS units may be used for warranty replacements.

3. If there is any physical damage/abuse evident on the UPS, or if the UPS has been used in a way that is not considered normal use, we reserve the right to deny warranty service.

4. Damages to UPS units caused by natural disasters are not covered under this warranty.  This includes, but is not limited to, lightning strikes, tornadoes, hurricanes, floods, and fires.

7. Warranty does not cover theft of hardware.

8. The battery cartridges in UPS units are considered to be a consumable item, and performance will naturally degrade over time. They typically last 2-3 years before needing to be replaced.  There are many factors that determine the battery life, including the amount of load on the battery, as well as the quality of power in your facility.  If during the first year the battery is not performing normally for the load that it is supporting, we will replace the battery under warranty.
